How do u download videos from youtube? My sister does it, but i just don't know how. But the videos can only be played using FLV player and VLC media player. Can anyone tell me how to download these videos from youtube?!

A quick google search gave a few links that seemed to do that, including http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php which I tested: it works. I'm amused that you asked here instead of just asking your sister.

I'm curious how they do it. After checking wikipedia, I found out that .flv is a special flash video format. It must somehow extract the .flv that youtube feeds to the .swf that's the video player.

I use VDownloader, which allows you to save in .avi or .mpeg.

Oh yeah, the pokemon parody cracked me up. I especially love the "Ahnold, Ahnold" part.
