how do u guys make money? other than restocking. i wanna find a way to start making money without having to do the games, cuz i just dont find them all that great :\
I used to restock, play the [fun] games, and occasionally attempt [and fail] at auction sniping. Also if I saw someone selling something cheap on the battle doom chat, and it was a r99 or something, I would buy it to resell.
Stock Market, Auction Sniping, Neoquest II.
Nq2 is the best if you've got patience and like Rpg. You get lots of Random Events, plus the prizes are awesome =D
NQII, Finding items in auctions that will be cheap when I bid but too expensive after I bid, and playing games that get at least 600np in less than a minute (I can only stand a game for three minutes.) I try to make 10k in games and go far enough that I level up three times in neoquest II daily. After about 3 weeks neoquest 2 on evil tends to end and you'll get an item somewhere in the 100-700k range and 30,000np. So that's about 430,000-1,030,000np a month.
Neoquest II on normal isnt very worth it so try playing evil several times after beating it on normal the first time.
interesting, interesting. hey i was wondering if anyone knwos a thread that can help ppl with illusen and jhudora quests when the rarity for items reaches 99 and the items become unbuyables. i had a bad experience with it last time...was doing level 35 and then BAM...no one responded to trade fast enuff
You should make a board with a title like I-Quest, 35 backup needed before going(make the board on the battledoom chat). People that collect/have r99's will come and /hopefully/ be able to help you with it =/
For the Quests, timing is important too. Try to do it during the peak time, 10pm NST there.
As for making money, I play NQII(Evil Mode) and restock.
I do World Challenges. The maps are hard to sell, so I mostly convert. In three weeks, I can make anywhere from 500K to about a million. However, I'm looking into getting involved in malls, because that seems like a great way to make a lot of money fast. Even though I have a cable connection, I'm hopeless at restocking.
I'm not horrible at RSing, although I do tend to miss more expensive items, but can catch some small profit-makers. Mostly I deal in lab maps, petpet lab maps, & ocasionally spooky treasure maps, with some reselling of PBs & other items interspersed.
I also play games when I'm in the mood & have time. Working your way through NQII like others suggested is an idea I think I'll have to try...
I play games and NQ2 when I have the time, although I'm still on Insane right now, so I'll have to wait to switch back to Evil. I haven't gathered enough munies currently to do any major auction sniping, but occasionally I can get lucky on the Wiz.
I can't restock for anything because wireless service out here is so bad, it would even be hard for Chuck Norris to make it better. And that's saying something. Then again at least it's not dialup. ><
The StockMarket is a great source of income, and it's one that you can keep up with even if you're too busy to get on the internet often.
I also do World Challenges, the key is to find one that you're decent at (it's not that hard really), and if one puzzle piece goes for at least 10k.
I hardly ever play games for neopoints purely other than for world challenges, and I have a terrible history of restocking.
