I'm going with 10 heavy cargos to raid a planet far far away. 20 Cruisers, 20 heavy fighters. It's done me well before ^_^'

look at your signature, you know what you should do. 20 cruisers and 20 heavies aren't that strong, you could face pretty heavy losses at this stage if you aren't careful.

It's my Uni6, I don't care so much. And I did probe them. It didn't reveal much about the planet o.o

EDIT : Yeahhh, that wrecked my fleet.

And in Uni 3 -

A hostile fleet from tank write message from planet DrCrazy2 [1:30:11] is approaching planet Furtuim [1:22:6]. Its mission is: Attack.

Too bad I sucked the resources dry

He's retaliating for an attack I did to him, apparently.

If it didn't reveal much, you should either send more probes, or realize that the planet is probably heavily gaurded since the guy has high esp tech.

That they are... and the planet I was pillaging is now gone, so I'm out targets. Coupled with the inability to spy (go probe some random person and see what you get), my resource intake = slow.

Anyhow, I just woke up, so I only feel like doing number 1: I think it's (y^2-3x y+x^2)(y^2+3x y+x^2). I'll try number 2 when I stop feeling groggy. If it's wrong, don't kick me.

is a good pdf to read if you want to learn about infinity, but I can't give you a solid mathematical proof. Basically, you're doing infinity/infinity, and usually n/n = 1... however, infinity sometimes doesn't behave as a number, and zero doesn't conform either.

Um, ogame... Halfway in regaining what I lost last time, that is at 122k now And join my alliance... I'll be nicer to you *whips randomly* Will have 10k missile, 500 small, 10 heavy/ion/gauss and 25 plasma soon... And I got 46 ABMs...

No clue, my math teacher resigned... and the new one is, well, not quite as good as the last one. ._.

And I found another, better planet to raid- each raid is bringing in 20k metal, 20k crystal, and 10k deut with only 10 small cargos. I can finally get Combustion Drive level 6 in a few days. And I think I'll apply, against my better judgement. (ogn I'm aeler/aennin)

[EDIT] Although I believe infinity factorial to be infinity, as 1*2*3*4*5...*infinity follows infinite multiplication, so it infinity! should be infinity... my brain is a sad panda right now, I slept too long

infinity over infinity is 1.

You can't really work well with factorial and infinity ... infinity is not so much a number as a concept, a point at which you say "this is very big." You get in to that a little in calc. If you use a factorial, you'll still get infinity.

Some fun things about infinity:
-anything other than 0 divided by 0 is infinity. Dividing zero by zero will give you 1.
-adding to, multiplying by, etc. yields infinity.
-you can have a negative infinity too.
-the sine of infinity is 1 (I think... haven't seen a proof of that one, but my math teacher is very good and I trust her).

And anyhow, I believe my cargos fell victim to a glitch- the inactive planet I was raiding vanished while my cargos were en route, and they dissapeared as well. Time to start "rebuilding" my "cargo empire" or something like that.
