Hi, did anyone, apart from me, successfully freeze an opponent with it? I tested it yesterday and today and it has a very little chance to freeze the opponent. Maybe you could make your own tests and put the freezing thing in the description.

The screenshot is from a battle (itīs in german, thatīs why i put in the english terms for the weapons and attack) to show that it really freezes.
question so why is the first line in english and the others in german ? shouldnt it be completely in german ?
No, german neopets is still beta. all things that arenīt translated yet come up in english. item names not yet translated just come up as "new". Since Altador there are many items called "new".
But that still doesnīt answer my question. Can anybody else please confirm the freezing ability of the essence?
Test it on Eng server instead. Weapons sometimes work differently on other language. For example, 17 Pound Trout does like 8-13 Icons on German.

You mean the language errors? No, I don't think they do. Supposedly healer restrictions in Chinese are based on certain divisions in healer names (for example, all scorchstones might be one division) rather then the usual way of only allowing one healer. Essentially you can equip as many healers as you want as long as they don't fall in the same group. I don't know if that glitch is real or not, but that's what I've heard... obviously it's a collossal advantage to those who use it if it really does exist.

Nope. I mean, change to Eng Lang.
The question is why it makes a difference? In fact i donīt change my lang to eng. As you can see on my kacheekīs petpage, the essence works quite well as freezer. i donīt test it any more but make a screenshot of every freeze i do with it. ( i donīt use it much as i got other weapons i normally prefer ).
Anyway, in my opinion the rating/information thingy should be updated with the freezing possibility as you canīt just see a weapon played in a certain language.
Two of the posts above yours just gave examples of how things can work differently in other languages. Do you have another freezer equipped to your pet? If not, try switching to English (this is important) and equipping the EoE and some kind of freezer (even a cheap frost cannon will work). If EoE is really supposed to be able to freeze, the system shouldn't let you equip it along with the other freezer ("only one freezing item may be equipped to a pet"). You could try doing the same thing in German, too. Let us know what happens.

Of course we can. In fact, the one and only language we should be using is English, the universal language.
What if Eoe doesn't freeze in English language (which occupies up to 80% of the population) and yet Idb claims that it does? Imagine how the price would skyrocket and how everyone will blame the staff for like, sort of scamming.
Furthermore, if Idb were to provide information of weapons in ALL languages, I bet Fh will need to hire 200+ more weapon testers (Not raters. Testers, seriously).
Phoenix also pointed out earlier on that he is absolutely not interested in how weapons work in other languags.
