i think an option to include the minimum IDB rating for a weapon should be a part of the advanced search. its really annoying when the results are swarmed with useless weapons...
oh yeah and can you please make Darigan Sword of Death not show up when you check "buyable only," i get that all the time and it just sits there and taunts me

Err, I'm pretty the first part is workable, but the second part is a no-can-do. There's been screenshots of Darigan Sword of Death being a real weapon...in a gallery. The stats are most likely downgraded, but it's a real item, not just a weapon used by Spectre of Lord Darigan.
i know its an actual weapon, but only one exists right? i dont see why anyone would sell it or give it away, it being arguably the best weapon in the entire game (or at least the best offensive weapon)

i think buyable means under 100,000. in the case of the sword, its price happens to be 0. 0 is under 100,000 so it is considered buyable.
i like the idea of minamum rating..

If something about Advanced Search needs to be changed, it's that we're limited to "one page" worth of results. I don't know what "technical issues" Finalhit was originally referring to with "NOTE : To prevent technical issues, there is a MAX results limit of 50 items (default : 25) per search.", but that should only apply to what's being displayed on one page, and not the search itself.

Having many ratings doesn't mean that the weapon isn't useless. In fact there are lots of great new weapons that has got 0 ratings.
Maybe our raters have abolished the 'At least 100 rating per 3 months' rule after Sirhatter quitted. So yea, they probably got lazy

ok, how about simply making it so you can sort the results the same way you do in normal searches? like:
Sort : Alphabetical | Price ASC | Price DESC | Ratings ASC | Ratings DESC
Darigan Sword of Death makes Super Attack Pea look like Supersize...

I kind of agree with this. Lost of good weapons go undiscovered because they happen to be last in the alphabetical order. If the limit still needs to be 50, then maybe you could make it so that 50 random weapons show up that fit the criteria, instead of the first 50 in alphabetical order. I think the original limit was designed to prevent overloading the server with huge searches. I think this goal could also be accomplished with "google-style" pages of results.
well if you have to look through 50 weapons to find the best one, chances are your search criteria are not limited enough. Usually I end up having too few options so I have to expand my criteria...
