On related news: Reeper stopped using his character, he gave it to a friend of his. (Really old by the way)

My opinion would be to discuss this rule among the head people of the guild, since we are supposed to represent the guild's interests.

I'd really like to discuss this with the Jr. Masters and Spaz over IRC, in a private channel, just to avoid more peer pressure from any member.
If Dag is allowed in, so will Tinsho, provided that Tinsho has not received any funding from Yoduh.

Then don't cause obviously the next words coming out of your mouth would be a lie. I can't believe you're berating fellow IDB members just to get "ahead" and into this guild.

Even though my opinion matters little to none, I vote against having Dag in the guild on the grounds that Tinsho was not allowed in because I "use to hack". Even after other IDB members would testify to their wanting me in the guild (an exact repeat of what we see in front of us) , I was still disallowed entry.

I'm not going to say whether I believe it is morally "right" for ex-hackers to re-enter the guild. But if rules DO change, I feel it is only fair that it apply to everyone consistently. That would not only include me, but Sai, Sticky, Reeper, and countless others.

Okay, first of all that wasn't my intention at all. I just remember an IRC conversation we had about hacking and remember you being indifferent to the consequences of what you did. I agree that another character you made should be allowed in assuming I am.

It's too bad one request I made turned into this. If it is easier for everyone else, I'll just give it up now and move on.

I've clearly stirred up too much drama, which was not my intention. I didn't realize how much baggage came along with this topic, so I apologize. Kage, I know you already have a problem with me as a person in general, but I am seriously sorry that you feel I'm using you as a stepping stone to try and get into the guild. But to be honest, there were differences in our attitudes towards hacking, and I am going to try and defend myself when compared to you. I didn't bring you up out of the blue, someone else did.

Why wouldn't you be allowed in if people wanted you in? That's what I don't understand about this whole issue. If people - THE GUILD - want members in and they know about their past, why should they be barred from entering?

Well, shouldn't the members of the guild get a say in this matter?

Simple, it is easier to deal with reduced groups. You can always talk with a Jr. that has a definited stance about this, I just want to observe first how this is going.
The Jrs dont represent the guild members either (they werent elected or anything). I think everyone should have an oppinion on this matter, since everyone paid their entrance to the guild and this is IDB guild and not someone elses.
To me, the fairest thing would just do a voting, if anyone (ex hackers, or other that for whatever reason were kicked out) wants back into the guild they should ask for it. And we, the guild members, should vote each case individually (i dont like that thing about, if this person is a ex hacker and gets in, then all others ex hackers get in... because this is NOT about rule making, but people deciding) and decide by simple mayority.
It's fairly simple, i think, we give a certain ammount of time for the interested members to vote yes or no (by a PM, for instance), if mayority is yes, the person votes gets back in, if mayority says no, then he or she doesnt.
Voting on a case-by-case basis would be unfair. A policy could be voted on.
Well, we need to make a fair policy for this issue Toungue
Let him in, if he didn't ever hack on his character on scania, and there's been no hack funding, what's the point?

I think all members agreed on this.
Due to near-unanimous decision, Dag will officially be allowed in. Tinsho will be as well if it isn't funded by Yoduh.
Apparently we've been hit by the guild attacks. I got kicked out. Hopefully Nexon will fix this and undo damage caused, but of course they won't. Possible plans for after the exploit gets patched:

1. Remain as TeamIDB. The current Jr's are all the Jr's that there will ever be.

2. Everyone leaves and we reform.

If you're going to set up shop in FM, please leave the guild and ask to be reinvited when you're no longer in FM. This will help prevent further damage.
