The amount Yoduh actually received from hacking wasn't very much, and his punishment was losing months of time that he could have been training on it, so it's not like he's a hacker that got away with loads and loads of free EXP. I don't understand why he can't be forgiven, but someone from another server who hacked far more could be and admitted.
lol @ Dag's long post...if he's willing to spend so much time making such a long post rather than on his ToK essay, then I think I have nothing against him joining TeamIDB
No hacked characters in TeamIDB.

Then he should be in the guild, since his character in Scania isn't hacked/hacking

And there is a member that hacked on a character that you allowed back into the guild last summer.
Yoshi, I was referring to Yoduh.

GIR, I wasn't even aware that that person hacked until someone told me yesterday.

As we just discussed on AIM, you're forgetting someone that you knew about, and permitted back in anyways.
My opinion on the matter has changed since then, but since he doesn't even play, I didn't want to stir up trouble by kicking him. And unless I was misinformed, that character never used any cheating tools.

I agree with this statement on some levels. But I think there is a difference between Kage and I. I don't want to speak for him, but he seems to not regret what he did and was unapologetic when asked about his actions. I fully understand the implications of what I did and thus would never be inclined to even think of doing them again. Again, sorry Kage if I am wrong, but thats the notion I got from talking to you about it briefly on IRC.

Also, Kage hacked directly on the character that would be in the guild (I am assuming he would continue on Yoduh). I know this sounds kind of shady, but he could be recognized by some as being a hacker. No one would have any idea that I hacked beyond the people who I told. There would be no potential threat of the integrity of the guild if I came back.

Really sorry I had to pick you apart Kage, its just that you were brought up in comparison to me and I had to defend myself >_<

And Q, I finished my TOK essay >:O lol.
Kage also hacked a lot less than you, so he might not feel as guilty in lieu of serving his punishment.

Then don't cause obviously the next words coming out of your mouth would be a lie. I can't believe you're berating fellow IDB members just to get "ahead" and into this guild.

Even though my opinion matters little to none, I vote against having Dag in the guild on the grounds that Tinsho was not allowed in because I "use to hack". Even after other IDB members would testify to their wanting me in the guild (an exact repeat of what we see in front of us) , I was still disallowed entry.

I'm not going to say whether I believe it is morally "right" for ex-hackers to re-enter the guild. But if rules DO change, I feel it is only fair that it apply to everyone consistently. That would not only include me, but Sai, Sticky, Reeper, and countless others.
