kagemucha Wrote:But yah.. the guild needs better titles.. "Advanced" and "Member" are really generic.. We need COOL names. Maybe like.. 1st Slave, 2nd Slave, etc. Something for people to look forward to. I'm hearing lots of people wanting to be the cool "Peon" name rather than Member-Advanced.
I've asked many times, but no one ever gave me ideas.
Whats the maximum of ranks?
Royal Names: Peasant, Knight, Bishop, Queen(GIR), King

*modifies*
Dunce, Peasant, Jester, Mistress(es?), King
There can't be more than 1 queen.

Er.. sure there can.. The King is a big pimp

Spaz, there are 28 people, and you spelled my name with a capital S, >.<
I like graph's idea, but I want peon to be in there somewhere. =P
Alright, how about: Peon, Dunce, Peasant, Mistress, King
I think it'd be pretty funny

But a peon IS a peasant. And the non-admin titles are all rather negative names when at most one should be.
it is a guild, not a castle or kingdom...
i would like another class of names... something like:
Slime, Pig, Wraith, Wild Cargo, Balrog...
BTW, we should create some kind of guild events... to make the guild more enjoyable
I had proposed a weekly Bounty Hunter thing, but no one seemed interested.

I'll say it again here and see if you guys would do it. Here's how it would work:
Once a week, at a designated day and time, we would get together and hunt a particular monster that drops something that a member needs or wants. (And this might be extended to all Scania IDB people, not just guild members.) A list of who wants what could be kept, and that would be used to decide the week's target. Maybe a scoring system could be set up, where people earn points for finding a bounty, even if found outside of the weekly event. The more restrictions that are put on the item (such as perfect luk, or above average def, etc), the more points it's worth.
People who find the item would be free to do what they want with it, but they'd be encouraged to give or sell at a reduced price to the person who needs it.
Due to the nature of the event, it would be geared more towards mid and high level players. If we do this, I'll try to pick monsters that would allow more people to participate, most of the time.
I like that idea Spaz! Not only would it be fun, but it would help others to find those pesky items that they need or want.
And with the scoring system, would the person with the most points win something after a certain period of time?
Eh, not sure about that yet. If that is done, it would be after an extended period of time, like several months, because I don't expect a find to be an overly common occurence.
