I'm really not understanding why this is even an issue for Mike, Heidi, etc. As Heidi said, this is only good for the people level 90+.... because we're the only ones affected by it. The rest of you won't even have any impact on or feel the results of this, except in that you may one day, when you're a high enough level, NOT have to deal with Veng.
Notice how everyone in the level range to encounter Veng on a regular basis is in support of the treaty? Hmm, I wonder why...

To preface this, I want to say that I apologize for starting any more unnecessary drama; I know you guys have a lot of it to deal with already. Also to Spaz - I know you have the option to delete this if you wish, but I urge you to allow me say what I have to say.
I'm going to put this clearly at the beginning of this post so everyone knows: I was a hacker/script kiddie/whatever you would choose to call it. I leveled a Spearman from 55-114, a Bowman to 64, and a Cleric to 69 illegally, all on Khaini. I regret doing this more than most would expect. I apologize for doing this to the whole MS community many times over.
I was excited to start off again, free of hacking, to come back and play with the people I loved to play with. I came back to Scania with a fresh mindset. Upon my return, I encountered a few road blocks. Firstly, I was hoping I could get my character back on the rankings, the character I am currently playing. I asked Spaz if this would be okay - unfortunately he decided that it was not; he felt that a year suspension from the rankings was fair. Did I? Of course not. But that was of no importance, and I respected the decision he made for the IDB MS Community. So I moved forward, began to add friends that I had not talked to in ages, and add some new ones from IDB.
Today, I managed to FINALLY get in contact with GIR (lolafk) and upon saying a simple "hey" he wanted to invite me back into the guild. I told him it was a bad idea, and that Spaz would just kick me once he found out. He said "You never hacked on Scania, whats the problem?" (or something along those lines, can't remember verbatim). I said alright and in I was. Things were great when I was in; I was finally motivated to keep up with all my old friends again, and I had a great group of people to talk to while I was playing. Shortly after I was in, as I expected, Spaz logged in, saw me in the guild, and kicked me.
I'm assuming that TeamIDB is run relatively democratically, and that the whole guild is involved in decisions about the guild (I saw this in the issue with GPQ). So I propose this statement - Would you, members of TeamIDB, be okay with me coming back to the guild, now being an ex-hacker? I am NOT trying to undermine the rulings of Spaz, I would just like to know what the guild thinks, and hopefully after hearing some opinions, I can clear up any issues you would have with me joining.
I want everyone to know a few things to help you make your decision:
-If you can trust me, I am promising you I will never hack again.
-I never hacked on Scania.
-If I at any point cause the guild reputation to be put into jeopardy, I will take full blame for any statements generalized about the guild based off of my character and take my leave willfully.
-I will gladly answer any questions you have about my integrity or my background as a player.
I hope you guys will consider what I am saying seriously, and I hope you have it in you to forgive me for what I have done. I hope I have changed some of your minds about the kind of person I am; I am not a bad person at heart. All I'm asking for is a second chance to prove to you that everything I'm saying is true.
Just FYI, our guild has more than 40 slots. Don't kick mules because you think our guild only holds 40. >_>

Probably two weeks ago... I just checked up on my DK, seeing what items he had, couldn't remember.
Dag, you have my support. I understand about wanting to be in the guild. We are all friends there, and it makes playing MS so much more an enjoyable experience. Not that my vote/opinion seriously counts, but let me give you my opinion on the situation. I absolutely would love to have you in the guild. I would like to say that you obviously made an error in judgment back in the day, you regret it, and will not repeat it I am certain. I do not think that you should be punished for the rest of your natural ms life, because you made a mistake.
Merged the Dag thread into here, since it's solely about the guild.
I have a load of work, so I can't explain fully now, but the short version is that I am strongly opposed to any ex-hacker in the guild, but I may be overruled. Poke me after Thursday.
Dag's temporary status is whatever the juniors that are on want it to be.

Uhh, let me rephrase that: When's the last time you cheated on MS? (Cheating on MS with school/work/your girlfriend, etc. doesn't count.)
