Desmos, I think its mainly based upon when you killed Razul. So if you did everything fast, but then did Razul later you'll suffer. parkersc probably was the first to beat Razul, and then the other top 5 all did it shortly thererafter.
But yeah, congrats on getting top 5 cranberry!

Desmos, none of the steps on your plot roundup page were greyed out? Hm. Yeah, it could be a time thing.
I think a couple neoboarders had beaten Razul before parkersc did, but he was super-fast on all the scroll-reading steps, so he probably picked up most of his extra points there. He moved so much furniture that he was adept at getting through the repository incredibly quickly.
Yep, Cranberry, each step is showing up with full image and black text, so it was probably just time related. Just rather perplexing, really.
Cranberry I skipped fake steps and scores 179,300 as you suggest. However, I've looked at some scores of others who also received the same scores and had nothing grayed out and didn't skip anything.... I don't guess it matters but I do wonder.
I skipped one grey step (read the prophecy the wrong way and then found out I was doing it wrong, so didn't talk to Nuria with incorrect prophecy to get the mountain of scarabs) and got 179,300. So those steps meant nothing in the end
Check out the editorial. They mentioned that fake steps don't get you extra points (kinda obvious now, but hey, its official)
I am pretty sad I didn't particpated in this war.

But I notice that there were a lot of prizes. Can someone give me the list of prizes there are and how much points it costed to obtain those prizes?
Blast it...
Blast it...
Why did I have to miss out on the war:cry:
there wasn't an actual war anyway
Meh, I was too confuse and lazy to do the puzzles and stuff. All I saw were war oppenents and i battled them and thought i might get some points but guessed they were worth nothing.
