Several days of non stop rain in Indonesia had brought a lot of troubles, although not as destructive as tsunami, the loss and damages caused is not small... rice fields and much more has turned into a large "lake"

My family and I were going to madura, an island near java and bali, and for some stupid reason, my father chose to go there by car.

The car was somehow got stuck and that's not even halfway yet, and since we were in the flood area, we're also got stuck there. My father called home for a repairman (oh yeah, we were already 300km from home).

Another flood happened in the way between, caused the repairman trapped in another traffic jam while I was hopelessly watching the traffic jam in my area. It was in the news that the traffic was really that long...

Well the car was fixed, and on the way home, we had to bear the total traffic jam, and after that... the right tires were somehow broken because of the condition of the street... well we managed to get home this morning... and my parents still insist me to go to madura, using plane though...

Jakarta is huge >_< compared to s'pore, at least Shutup
Hmm... yup jakarta is bigger than singapore Toungue more crowded, more traffic too Toungue singapore better imo

Well... flood is a non unusual thing in jakarta, except it only affect small area, and not really deep. but this flood I was talking about affect the north area of java island (so it affect from west to the east... imagine how long is that Toungue), and the depth is quite deep (talking about the ones affecting the citizens houses, the main roads are not that deep, I mean trucks and buses still can go through). as I said even rice field (or wheat field.. err I just forget the word, just say farm) changed into a great lake... and thats not only one farm... bridges and houses collapsed, many more
Thank goodness you are safe. But what happened to your house?
