I believe the Open Forum should be accessible to members like before, though members cannot post in it. The Open Forum contains valuable submitted information that registered members may find appealing. I consider logging off every time to view the Open Forum a distraction. Thank you for your time.

open forum is closed from members because the open forum is subject to "bad stuff" that might not get moderated right away. by making it not-so-easy to access, we can somewhat "protect" the community from those stuff.
