well, almost...got bored yesterday, so i started working on it. sad thing is, i only have 1 week of vacation left, so not sure how it's gonna go.

pets are a bit different now, they're sorta gonna be the new "boing shop" but we won't really have a real economy in a sense...just to avoid the craziness of before.

but anyway, it has some working areas (the minor stuff), and i'm working on remaking the pet fighting area again, but i want to make the powers a bit more interesting. There's gonna be classes (warrior, stalkers, mages, etc) with class bonuses (+HP, +damage, etc). There's also gonna be powersets (primary and secondary, where a secondary is a "toned down" version of one of the primaries) you can mix and match which ever you want. there's gonna be resist and defense, buffs and debuffs, heals, team support (i'm thinking upto 3 players per side, 6 total)

well, anyway, big plans. not sure i can do it on my own, so which brings me to my point...anyone interested in helping?

needs to be good in math, maybe puzzles, planning, creative. please don't just join because you want to really trying to make something cool here. PHP knowledge is a plus.

if enough people are interested, then i'm gonna start a usergroup and private forum for it so we can get to working.

Not too much like Maplestory (That's Warrior/Mage/Thief/Bowman, Strength/Dexterity/Intelligence/Luck/HP/MP)

How about our economy is posts (Like you can exchange 500 posts for a normal pet and 1000 for a good pet)

How do pets have classes?...

not really sure, i haven't worked a lot of "system" out...which is why i need the help

i do think it's gonna be somewhat about post, but really more about "activity" i.e. you can also get rewarded for participating in the CCCs, and things like that.

er.. I might be able to help with making the concept of the pets/game and stuff.. I can't really code, draw, etc..

Maybe doing forum activites can help on training a pet? >_> Cut spam down and n00bs couldn't spam for posts.

I suck in all the places you want, but I'm sure there are some users with those skills, so if they help out..viva el pets! Heck, get the MS people to help.

due to there recent events, i try to make it as secure as i know how, so hopefully, nothing goes bad.

when you select primary/secondary for your pet, pick "world domination/supremacy" cause that's the only one populated.

don't worry if you try it out now, we'll clear everything once we're nice and ready.

Pretty cool FH. I'm testing out the new pets now...I chose lab rat even though it says special order only. Seems like a lot of work still needs to be done though since I can't really do anything... But for now it seems like you can pick your abilties but not upgrade any skills.

I can't really help though since my coding abilites are sub-par.

Good at math: Yes
Puzzles: Sorta-kinda
Planning: Maybe?
Creative: Not at all.

Don't know PHP, but I could probably pick it up with a good teacher or tutorial since I know c++ and java.

Don't know if I'd be any help, but I'm available if needed. It might be tough making it so it doesn't result in spamming, and setting up a balanced game environment is always tricky.

Very cool. What you have in mind right now sounds very nice. Just as long as it doesn't encourage spam, then it's all good.

Posting for boing would defeat the purpose of deleting boing to begin with..

I like the idea of "activity" playing a part.. but it could result in people using auto-refreshers.. Also, another idea.. beside CCC events, we could have BD Tournaments(not neo...) and the prize awards could be boing. Or instead, the pets would gain "special limited edition powers"!! Boing could be a big problem.. and it might even be needed to be taken out.. but w/o a currency, it would just be an RPG game, totally seperate from the actual forums.

We need a discussion thread...

cool FH i like the way you have it set up.... i dunno about the classes though... maybe... be more original? like maybe... forum stereotypes? like spammer, nub, etc.... that way, it'll be cool! but yeah, nice system, and its nice to see the pets back! yay for krab!
