So yeah. I was browsing drspyder's blog the other day and got linked to this site. (Indirectly.)

http://www.mturk.com

Basic idea: Use internet spare time to do meaningless tasks for small amounts of money. (You have to have an amazon.com account.) It's not a referral/pyramid thing, it's just... interesting.

I've made about $13 in three days' worth.

Oh, and if you sign up, and it looks like they're all worthless (i.e. they're all "Rank the Top 3: Big City, US") then check back. A9 HITs are good, as are podcast transcriptions. ACRIS ones are okay. Validations are the best, if you can catch them. They go quickly, but I made like $5 in less than an hour off those.)
notinuse has your money gone through? all of my money is still in statis... (aka it's pending)
lmao, this is like jobs on neopets Toungue

i think i'm going to keep this in mind
woah.. this looks really interesting.. I want to try it.. but it kinda looks like a scam.. Have you tried using the money to buy anything yet?

$10.78 has gone through and I have another $2-3 in statis.

Kage: No. What happens is that you transfer the money either directly into your bank account through your amazon.com account or you can get it as an amazon.com gift balance (So you can buy stuff off there with it).

By the way, in case you didn't catch it (it's hard to see from the link) the entire thing is run by amazon.com. This link will lead you to the same page:

So this thing is seriously for real? o.0 No catch? Toungue
I've completed 20 cents worth.. How do you get like $13!!!! crazy..
It's actually teamed with Amazon? o_0
This actually looks kind of cool...
There's no catch, right? It's either STRAIGHT to your bank account or by gift certificate?
