amazing articles... just a question thought...
"I am now down a strengthboost, without my stealer, and have given up my robe" (from round 4 of battle analyzer2)

how are you down a strengthboost? (I apologize if this is a stupid question)
He is saying that his opponent is a strength boost ahead of him.
ok fair enough, the now is what confused me, I couldn't figure out what had changed since the start of the fight
Nice battle fought and good analyzations.

Of course your Technical skills could do a little tweaking. When I battle I have some knowledge of dmg ranges for most of the weapons you see on the field. What dmg I should expect to take against say a PCC...with Gshield and without, what dmg I can deal...and so forth.

You fair very well by knowing numbers.

I'd say around Round 4 you should have expected him to heal. Of course a Jade SS could be almost seen in that situation, the fact he had a Kacheek and from your previous battles with him, should have suggested strongly towards a KLP use at the next Round.

At 271 HP, he'd have come close to reaching the critical Full Heal point. His initial HP is 502 making the 33% Full at 169 HP. From the dmg your dealing it seems that the option of going one more round like that would put him past that marker and a Regeneration wouldn't be of much help unless he can minimize your dmg to an extent that would allow him to get above the 169 HP mark. But that would use up a majority of his Power and leave him vulnerable by elongating the battle.

With KLP use, you already know one slot. And in terms of attack, he wouldn't dare try a Berserk at that level. To risky. He did block to protect it.

Good battle nonetheless.

First round I'd have opened up stronger with a PCC attack and Drain Life at Weak. Force him to heal earlier in the round and exhaust his abilities faster. Though the str boost difference, you have the clear advantage both Set Wise and HP wise.

I'd strongly suggest against Diamond Dust and Fiery Gaze in those situations. Though lucky at some times, to risky. He downsized to early, which is good for you. An attack there would have been nicer. Gshield + PCC.

For future notice I'd suggest you placing your Clawed Shield and HRoT in the first slots. Keep essentials in the back. You could go without the Cshield as you hold no fire in your set and even for defensive purposes, you'd still be better off than having one main or backup stolen.

After his heal, I'd myself have predicted a Gbomb attack. The stats are almost ready for one. He's got a nice chunk of HP over yours and is subsequently leading you in the battle. Downsize! + Berserk would have been a lot nicer for Ghost, but he wasted it early in the battle. A Burrow + Dual Attack there would have made a good difference. Though he did a nice job of catching the Air attack with his shield. From that you can almost see a switch up there. Owning the dark attack was also a nice job on his part.

At that point a heal would be ensured so he'd know you'd use that Jade slot and your power wouldn't be enough to use any type of ability thus leaving yourself almost open. If I were Ghost I'd have gone for a Berserk, but laying off the attack is also very reasonable.

When you had healed it's almost apparent you'd try something to KO. He should have called it. Then again it is a hard decision to make and you pray you make the right one. If it were me I'd have tried to force a tie.

Otherwise, your strategy and judgments still delivered a win. I'd have played more conservatively reserving my Power and forces opponents on early options.
