I took the PSAT 2 or 3 years ago. I got a 1430 (1600 was the max back then), which was 98th or 99th percentile.
But it's not the PSAT score you need to worry about, it's the SAT. PSAT doesn't really affect anything, except if you score really high (around 1500 or higher, on the old scale) you might have a chance to win some scholarship money.
Edit: I just remembered that the 3rd section WAS on it, 1430 was my score only counting math and verbal. With writing...I don't remember, was something like 2170 or 2180.
I got a 2120 on the new SAT... a 1410 if you leave out the writing portion, and go by the old scoring system.
I got 2250 on the SAT...I died on the essay

Ignoring the writing part, I got 1540(800 on reading with one missed question, and 740 on math with two missed questions). I was soooo lucky on the non-essay part - I actually missed a few more reading questions, but they were in the experimental section.
i'm aiming for a 800 on math
1500 combined on reading, doubtful that i'll get above 1550
but i'm not taking it until 9th grade ._. (taking the PSATs soon)
Drspyder, you do know that the PSAT doesn't matter until you're in 11th grade, right? Before that, you can ace it all you want and still won't be eligible for any scholarships...It is good to get practice by taking it 9th and 10th grade, though.
Only 96%ile for me.....should've studied more.
Canada has provincials.....I avg'ed 90% on an absolute scale...
Not that it really matters, but I retook the SAT in May and got a perfect score.
I'm a little late here, but I too got a perfect 80 on the Math section, a 64 on the Reading, and a 71 on Writing, for a total score of 215. 99th percentile. Too bad it doesn't count for squat because I was in 10th grade

Wow. Everyone does really well here ._.
I took the SAT once in 7th grade for some thing for Duke University and got 1130 with the 1600 scale Oo I wanted to take it again this year (9th grade) but completly forgot about it Oo
