Well, it's time for my schools winter concert, and there will be an in - school concert tomorrow and an evening concert on thursday.

I'm playing second violin in my orchestra, and the pieces are:
Concerto for String Orchestra by G. F. Handel
Seranade for Strings Movement 4 by P.I. Tschaikowsky
Symphony Number Nine By A. Dvorak

They're not terribly hard, but I have trouble with Symphony #9, because of all the slashed notes, and it makes it hard to concentrate.

Any suggestions for pre-concert jitters? I tend to get nervous and lost when I play with others. Blush
You could take deep breaths before playing, and during the concert, imagine that you are just playing in your music hall at school. Concentrate on your music, and also the conductor so if you get lost, you can find your place quickly.

Also, just a reminder to keep your hands warm up until you play. Smile Good luck!
I play a few games of nfl street 2 if you cant do that just shrug it off

im good at forgetting people are there/pretending they are not there
I remember those days I played a violin in my school orchestra. Believe me, I was really nervous too. Take deep breaths, practice your music, and if you make a mistake, DO NOT STOP PLAYING. Whatever you do, never stop. Good luck and have fun!
