Used to watch...not anymore so much..still remember the good ones...
Samurai Champloo Bleach Full Metal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop Trinity Blood Wolf's Rain
Outlaw Star FLCL Naruto
Gundam (Wing, 8th MS, G, Seed) Ghost in the Shell (2nd Complex)
Vandread Neon Genesis Evangelion .HACK//
Rurouni Kenshin R.O.D Noir
I've noticed something. With several animes, even with subtitles set to English, the subtitles for the opening and closing songs are in English as they should be on some episodes, but in the original language on other episodes. O_o Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Also, I saw Elfen Lied last night (all of it!). I liked it quite a bit and recommend it. But as a warning, it contains nudity and extreme blood and gore. (Which is why it was chosen for the Halloween marathon.)
Other stuff I've seen but haven't commented on yet:
Scrapped Princess: Good, but not great.
Ruin Explorers: Just bad. Like Slayers but not funny.
Martian Successor Nadesico: A very enjoyable watch. It's not particularly deep or philosophical except for one aspect, and I saw the main plot twist coming 10 miles away, but it's very funny and just fun to watch. Also gave rise to a new anime club tradition: (possibly very minor spoilers)
Yelling "JOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" whenever a major character dies.
You're Under Arrest (movie): Not funny, philosophical, or very exciting. I didn't like it at all.
A Wind Named Amnesia: Raises some very interesting points and questions about humanity. But what happened at the end seemed just totally conflicting with the rest of it. I'd say it's still worth a watch if you're into philosophy stuff. [contains nudity]
Paranoia Agent: Great anime. Mysterious, exciting, and carries a message. If I still went trick-or-treating, I'd be Shonen Bat for Halloween.
I like Death Note and Naruto
I like naruto and FMA but I don't watch too many other animes.Used to watch gundum which was great and also DBZ. For some reason I don't watch dubbed causr I like hearing the English language but I may want to consider hearing more than just subbed cartoons.
Yea, a lot of people like the subbed stuff. Original Japanese language. I myself don't like reading subtitles and hearin the original dialogue unless your intent on learning japanese. Don't know why people have problems with the english versions. It fits the characters better.

well i believe moon phased came out in full english dub a while back, so check out one of my favorite animes
DN Angel is pretty good actually. Watched the entire series. Very good elements of comedy, drama and some action. The story line could have used a few alterations in the plot to make it more clearer and exciting and some more character development needed to be added. I did have my reservations at first, but it was good after all.
I just started watching Death Note (actually only halfway done with the first episode) and I'm already liking it ^__^
I've heard a lot of good stuff from people about Death Note, but I have yet to get around to watching it. Can someone give me a basic plot summary?

One plot summary in spoiler tags coming up:
Kid finds notebook that when you write someone's name in it they die. Kid uses notebook to kill of criminals to create a utopian society. Kid starts to get searched for by police. Then it unfolds from there.
Thanks! It sounds interesting, so I'll definitely give it a view.
