I prefer subbed, with the only exceptions being Ghost in the Shell:Stand Alone Complex, and maybe Cowboy Bebop. I find the Japanese voice acting to be generally superior to the dubbing. I don't think having to read the subtitles detracts from it at all. And I've picked up a few Japanese words. ^_^ Honto, mate, tokakoka, baka, echi, hai, and probably a few others I'm forgetting.
Also, what about length? I prefer relatively short animes (26 episodes or less), although 52ish episodes can be ok if it's really good, as is the case with Fullmetal Alchemist. I can't stand anything longer than 52, because I like to see a story told, with the story having an ending instead of going on and on and on.
And finally, this is what I've seen in anime club since my last post here:
Hand Maid May: Very funny, a nice change from most of what I watch. Very fanservice-y. But come on, there is no way that many girls would fall in love with a geeky electrical engineering student, even if most of them are robots.
Infinite Ryvius: Despite it being the anime club president's favorite, I didn't like it that much. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.
FLCL: ...Interesting. Insane. A little confusing. But seems better and better the more you think about it. I'm watching it a second time. It's nice and short, 6 episodes. (club vice-president's favorite)

If you like short animes, I may suggest Shinkintsutan Shikihime (its only 26 eps, and its AWESOME!). D. N Angel also have 26 eps, and it is just GOOD!.
If I can choose, I prefer non; since subbed gets in the way of my viewing, and dubbed is just disgusting
(I understand Japanese...) But if I had to choose, I'll go with subbed...
Berserk
Elfen Lied
Gankutsuou
FLCL
Hellsing
Trinity Blood (only saw a few episodes as it got liscensed
shortly after it was released by sub groups)Bleach
As for subbed vs. dubbed, it depends entirely on the quality & such. I download a lot of anime & watch it subbed, but if I watch it on DVD & the dub isn't horrible, I'll watch it that way. I do dislike having to read while I'm watching though, but I'll do it if the dub quality is bad.
Gotta admit, I do love Beyblade...kinda sad saying that. I just love the bit beast designs.
Fav anime right now is for sure Naruto and I'm slowly getting into Bleach...only at episode 11 right now.
Sub vs dub...I don't love or hate either, but I perfer dub. Why? It's in my own language and I hate reading subtitles when action is going on.
Naruto is the only true anime I've watch all sub before going dub and I actually love the dub. They SOUND their age.
Only way for me to hate an anime dub is horrible/unneeded editing, ala early Dub Piece.
I can't wait until summer, because I hope I'll have time to catch up on watching stuff.
Subs vs dubs: I like subs more but I've only seen dubbed naruto's on YTV, so I may be biased due to limited experience.
So far I've watched and liked Neon genesis Evangelion, naruto, GITS, Cowboy bebop. FMAmovie...after cowboy bebop, maybe I will start bleach or maybe gundam series (not too interested)
Disliked:trigun I'm not sure why but I saw the 1st episode and somewhere I accidentally saw the last so maybe that's why I don't like it.

Digimon is like my favorite anime ever. The first two seasons were awesome, and the third I liked too (it appeals to me a bit more now since it was a bit edgier), but the 4th was horrible. I watched like 3 episodes of it and then stopped.
There's trailers for a 5th season on youtube right now too..just hoping the 5th is:
A. WAY better than season 4
B. Makes it way to America
C. Somehow ties in with the first two seasons =\
