I know that a staff member once had a bunch of 1P challenger weapons mispriced as 99,999 NP in their shop. A whole bunch of people bought them and were frozen/had the item deleted.
o ok were there any other ways liek random events and so on?

No, shadow shield is an actual BD item sold in the defense shop I believe...or it was a Lenny Conun. prize...one of the two.
I know for surew Mutant Chia Shield was one of the items bought from the staff member's shop...
Anybody remember who this staff member was? And why were people being frozen if it was a staff member's fault? That seems grossly unfair.

The Shadow Shield wasn't a rare item code prize, it's been around since before those existed.
When I was new player I bought a 1 player weapon in a shop...didn't know how rare it really was. I thought it was a war prize or something. I ended up trading it away.
Are any of these items still floating around in Neopia anywhere then?
Even if they are you don't want to touch them, it's not worth the risk, even if it's a staff member's fault
