And if I entered someone's friend code, but entered that name in paranthesis wrong... is that bad? o.o

Nickname is what you entered when it asks you for a name. It's also what shows up when you do GPs. I.e.

1 Notinuse 10
2 Bowser 8
3 Yoshi 6

etc.

Oh and if you're up for a game I'll play you

Not really but it's useful to see who is who, when for example you have two people that go by "Yoshi"

Problem with that is that some of us don't have enough space in front of our names...
