I went out and bought Mario Kart today... It'll be about Friday that I'll get my USB Adapter from Circuit City, then I'll post again. I'm excited for online play with you guys.
Edit: Wow, power slides are tough on the thumbs in this game... I've got a tiny blister, maybe I'll use a bandage while playing...
Grr... I doubt I'll ever order shipping from Circuit City again. I had to wade through bunches of help pages to figure out how long it will really take. If you get free shipping, it will take 7-10 days to arrive. If you order more than $25, you are forced into free shipping, or spending $8 to pin it down less than 3. And, my mom has left for two hours... At least actually getting the shipping process started will take another day, so I have time to get everything cancelled, and see if I can get my parents to go for in store pickup. They didn't want to "drive across town," (We're going to a city that has it in stock on Thursday) and now instead of it coming "a day later" its 2 weeks. On the other hand, if it actually ships today, that means I can't cancel, but the estimate is wrong anyway, and it might come on Friday (Come on, even the post office can send it 30 miles in 3 days.) I suppose I'll just have to see what happens, it's entirely possible that they are delaying shipping a day, just so that it can't come earlier than 3 days, cause then they'd have lost the $8 that you'd normally have to spend for 2 day shipping.
Ah, look. It has shipped today, and it is going by the post office. It might even be Thursday now... There's no change in the Arrival Estimate, USPS hasn't picked it up yet, it'll happen later in the afternoon. That just indicates that it is indeed being sent from somewhere in my timezone, so it's looking much better now.
Strange, how come I keep typing 'than'? I know where to use 'then,' I just somehow mistype it...
And... now I've managed to get a blood blister on my right thumb using pliers... Also tiny, and below the knuckle. It'll probably heal fairly quickly, but I think it's just a matter of time before something goes really wrong.
I went with my dad to visit the community college, and the coffee shop has free Wi-fi! The shop is not open at this time of year, but I did point it through the door to get my friend code. I know I'd DC if I tried to play, I had to hold it really steady. Plus, we had to leave, and I didn't want to keep him waiting. I spent the entire ride home looking for other entries. (Just searching for them for fun, I didn't steal any internet from home routers.) A lot of them have no security at all, from what I could tell. (I assume that if there was security other than WEP, it'd give me a grey lock, right?) Lots of blues...

Stayed home from the mall, and the Adapter came today anyway. Get online so I be pwned by you guys instead of random people.

Name: Kugetsu

(I don't really like racing snakers, though, since I've only snaked a few tracks and it's too hard on my thumbs to do it anymore.
I don't think many people play anymore anyway.
