I personally have not seen Doom but I'd love to read any reviews on it cause the movie looks really cool (cause of the First person shooter view :P). I've heard it "wasn't that good" but I'd rather hear opinions with comments. If it's not good I'm assuming it's because there's a wrestler as an actor in the movie. Even the rock did a so-so job in Scorpion King IMO.
The Fog. Just came back from watching this. Terrible. No scary moments and the ending left me saying heyyyyy I want more plot points because it didn't explain a lot of mysteries that suddenly/randomly happened. If you want to see this - rent the 1979 version - which wasn't even good/scary either.
As far as Saw 2 :D  :D I am VERY excited to see this once it comes out. Saw had a really good plot (though I admit the movie could have used a better main actor :P). YAY is all I can say.
Saw II
Plot:
Very in-depth plot, many twists, if you've seen the first one the plot makes sense, but if you just want to see Saw 2 the plot will probably just confuse you.
Acting:
I was suprised how well a lot of these actors played their roles, 3-4 of the main characters did an awesome job, u wont mention who because i don't want to ruin it for people.
Effects / Visuals:
Of course there are a lot of very gorey scenes, i would def. agree this deserves an R rating and shouldn't be seen by children.
Final Score: 8 / 10
Walk The Line
Plot:
It's a biography of Johnny Cash, an American music legend.
Acting:
AMAZING. The actors even did their own singing, after seeing the movie and listening to the songs again, they did an outstanding job. Jacquince Pheonix (sp?) did the best job of playing Johnny Cash i could have imagined. They also had great actors playing Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, and June Carter-Cash.
Effects / Visuals:
They captured the look and feel of the 30's, 40's, and 50's perfectly in this film.
Final Score: 9.5 / 10
Chronicles of Narnia
Plot
Well...If you read the book, it kinda puts its own twist on the plot, but follows the basics to a tee. If you haven't read the book, then the plot is really well done. As a matter of fact, the plot would serve very well for a theme for a WW game...
Acting
For a group of four young children, the acting was very good. Of course, there were the occasional parts where you could tell the smallest girl was trying too hard, but other than that, kudos to all of them. "My name is Philip!"
Effects / Visuals
WOW! That's all I have to say. WOW! The effects are so cool and very intense. I can't think of any other movie, except maybe the most recent Harry Potter movie, that has such stunning visuals.
Final Score: 9.5 / 10
Yes, I did steal Mystic's style

*adds review to Narnia*
It did not stay exactly to the book, but MOST of the changes were for the better. There were a few scenes that they regretably left out(I would have preffered more on the Witch's evil beasts, and more with Aslan and the Girls in the Witch's castle) and a few that were unfortunatly left in (the ice scene was the lamest part of the moive). But for the most part, their changes added to the story.
The acting was PHENOMIMAL. Lucy was what, six-eight years old? She did better than anyone could expect a girl that age to do. The other non-children charcters, such as Tumus, also did great jobs. And the voices, such as Mr. Beavers, were quite good as well =).
The effects and visuals were about what I expected. I LOTR and Harry Potter we see two or three mythical beasts. In Narnia we basically saw them ALL. I really enjoyed that part. I was expecting LOTR when I went to see it, and was not disapointed.
On the whole, I think being a children's moive slightly limited the action. They could not spend a whole lot of time on the Witch's evil beasts, they had to prepare everyone for *most* of the big jumps, and the battle was slightly toned down. Regardless, comming from a big fan of the books they did an excellent job. I can not wait until the next one.
Final score: Five chickens(Out of five =P)
