I got dead bones! IT said on gameFAQs I needed atleast a star in all of the 100cc or 50cc races I think...I didn't do that though. If we have a tourny, I call him.
Tournament? A tournament would sound nice... if I wasn't so bad at the game. Oh well, I guess it still sounds cool! If I can get to my computer and do it I'm in.
Man, seems Bowser Jr isn't in the game and he's my solution to Bowser's heavy weight. Ness isn't in the game either, for obvious reasons.

I need a new karter since I know Koopa troopa and Yoshi will be taken. >.>
Yeah, I'm postive I'll be gettingthe game for christmas. Getting it this weekend, really.
I thought 2 people could use the same character o.o;
*raises hand* Second dibs on Yoshi! No Baby Luigi, no Koopa troopa, no Bowser Jr...man, had to go with the 4th kart user I like. I want Bowser Jr! O_O
*Plans on using on Yoshi just so Armi can't use it* =D Just kidding, I'll probally go with Luigi or Dry Bones.
But I have a question, is it just me or are the chances of someone getting a blue shell much greater than in the other games? Usually I don't see the blue shells very often in the other games, but in this one everyone's pulling blue shells out of thin air!
I'm probably getting it for Christmas, so I'm all for a tournament, even though I'll get schooled by the people who've had it since before Christmas.
More than one player can select the same character. Yes, the Blue Shells seem to be very frequent. And Armi, after you finish all the cups you get the ability to use any character with any kart. You can use Bowser with a light kart so you can have low weight bowser =)
But that tactic isn't as good as using a low weight character because each character has a small amount of inherent weight they add or subtract. So for example, using Bowser or DK in a light kart would not be as lightweight as using Daisy or Dry Bones.
Blue Shells are cheap and evil. I've lost many a race by getting hammered with multiples two feet from the finish line.

But they still would be more lightweight and it would be more like a medium weight character. Better than nothing really.
But with the blue shell opposite applies to me actually, when I do get hit by the shells it's usually when I'm in the lead by quite a distance, and they've helped me grab first a couple of times. Cheap yes, but helpful also yes. ... oh great, I bet I just jinxed myself. Watch me get the ultimate curse of the flying blue shells now!
What the heck! I'm playing Wario Stadium on Special Cup 150cc Mirror going for 3 stars ( I have 3 on all but three cups and they're all on 150cc mirror) and on the final lap I'm enjoying a sizeable lead.
Then I get hit with
4 blue shells and a lightning bolt.
