I'm getting better too, but we're still no match for you and firestorm. I came close to firestorm on yoshi falls a day or two ago, and I actually beat you on moo moo farm that one time, but I'm very proud of myself if I just keep either of you in sight for the whole race.

I got my star, now I'm working on getting 2 stars. It's really quite easy, just time-consuming. It seems like all you need to do to get 3 stars is get first in every race and not go off the road or hit the walls much. Rainbow road can be a royal pain to do that on though...it's too easy to get bumped off the road or get hit with a shell or something during the loops.

How good are the people online? I haven't tried doing that yet.

That's how I feel when racing you, Spaz. I'm glad to keep you in sight, especially when you're just barely ahead of me and only win by an inch. And I actually beat you one race .

Notinuse... I'm afraid to be in a race with you. You'll probably lap me. Same thing with Firestorm.

People online are horrible. I've lapped people on Luigi's mansion, Luigi Circuit, Sky Garden, Baby Park (many times), and others.

It's not that they don't snake, it's that they don't know how to race at all...

It really sucks to live in a small town. There's no hotspots to race you guys. I haven't even picked up Mario Kart DS yet. The next game I buy will be Mario and Luigi 2.

Ok, what ever happened to the tournament thing? Lets just set a time this weekend (sunday maybe) to all get on and race. Actually maybe a couple diff times, since some won't be able to make it.

i beat this guy comfortably in 3 races yet because he quit it means i get no wins for my record >_>

btw has anyone played any of the "disabled" tracks online? ive played airship fortress, waluigi pinball, shroom ridge, peach gardens + others i think

I've heard about people able to play those tracks online, but there's a technical reason why they weren't put in. It has something to do with things like the pinballs in waluigi pinball, the chain chomps in peach gardens, and the cars in shroom ridge. Because of limited synchronization between players, those things can cause problems in online play.

i didnt have any problems and shroom ridge is my favourite track =/

anyway im pleased cos i beat a 3 star guy twice

You get a win for everyone who disconnected as long as two people finish the race. The only tracks with problems online are Waluigi Pinball and Airship Fortress because of the cannons. Unless Parasyte fixed them. The others run without a hitch as far as I know.

so might nintendo allow them (if its possible to release a patch or something) in the future?

bleh me, gir, lacka + spaz were trying for an hour to get into a 4 vs race but it just wouldnt connect all 4 of us together >_< any idea why? =/
